ANOTHER SEASON HAS BEGUN. Gene will be at the brand new Margaritaville Cafe in Pier Park on Panama City Beach, Florida, every Tuesday and Wednesday, 4:30-8:30pm on the
deck, right on the Gulf of Mexico. Gene will also be once again at Calypso's Thursdays through Sundays from 7:00pm-11:00pm, except for some special events such as
THE OYSTER SPAT FESTIVAL on St. George Island, Florida, October 10th-12th.

GENE MITCHELL PERFORMS FOR 17 MILLION ON ABC TV
January 2007 started with a BANG as Gene was the featured headline entertainment for the 2007 Capital One Bowl half-time show at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida. Gene was hired because three of his songs were a perfect fit for the show which was titled Postcards From Orlando. Gene sang and performed with "The Big Coconut Band" made up of some great musicians from Orlando, before a live audience of 65,000 in the stadium and an estimated 17 million TV viewers on ABC television. He sang his songs "Vacation", "Greetings From Florida", and "Can't Wait To Be In Miami", which Gene modified to "can't wait to be in Orlando" for the show.
